Bookkeeper
TAYVYN MECHANICAL LTD., founded in 2019, is a mechanical contracting company offering plumbing, HVAC, and gas services. We are currently hiring a Bookkeeper (NOC 12200).
Job Description:
－ Title: Bookkeeper
－ NOC: NOC 12200
－ Position(s) Available: 1
－ Work Location(s): 4113 OKANAGAN AVE VERNON BC V1T 1K8
－ Weekly Hours: 30 to 40 hours
－ Compensation: $25 per hour
Benefit:
－ 10-day paid vacation per annum
Job Requirements:
－ Completion of secondary school is required.
－ Completion of a college program or two years of a recognized professional accounting program or courses in a related field combined with several years of related experience, are required.
－ Ability to utilize English in the professional workplace is required.
Job Responsibilities:
－ Maintain financial records and establish, manage, and reconcile various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
－ Record journal entries, reconcile accounts, prepare trial balances, maintain general ledgers, and compile financial statements.
－ Calculate and issue cheques for payroll, utilities, taxes, and other payables.
－ Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation documents, pension contribution forms, and other government-required paperwork.
－ Prepare tax returns and provide additional personal bookkeeping services.
－ Generate other statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
