Job Description:

· Title: Technical Sales Specialist

· NOC: NOC 62100

· Position(s) Available: 2

· Work Location(s): 3317 Coldstream Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 1Y1

· Weekly Hours: 30 to 40 hours

· Compensation: $32 per hour

Benefit:

· 10-day paid vacation per annum

Job Requirements:

· Completion of a college or university program in related field is required.

· Experience in sales or in related field is an asset.

· Ability to utilize English in the professional workplace is required.

Job Responsibilities:

· Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing construction clients.

· Identify and engage potential clients.

· Assess client needs, recommend suitable construction goods/services, and negotiate terms.

· Contribute to product design for client-tailored solutions.

· Develop sales materials to highlight product/service benefits.

· Estimate installation and maintenance costs for construction equipment/services.

· Prepare contracts, maintain customer records, and ensure compliance.

· Provide post-sale support to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction.

· Build technical product knowledge to explain features and answer queries.

· Develop, implement, and report on sales strategies to meet business goals.

· Analyze market conditions, monitor competitors, and track industry trends.
