Job Description:

· Title: Home Building and Renovation Manager

· Position(s) Available: 1

· Work Location(s): 3317 Coldstream Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 1Y1

· Weekly Hours: 30 to 40 hours

· Compensation: $35 per hour

Benefit:

· 10-day paid vacation per annum

Job Requirements:

· At least 3 years experience in related field.

· Ability to utilize English in the professional workplace is required.

Job Responsibilities:

· Oversee strategic planning, organization, direction, and evaluation of operations for residential construction or renovation companies.

· Develop competitive bids for home building and renovation projects.

· Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to finalize plans and technical specifications.

· Recruit, manage, and supervise specialized subcontractors for trades such as plumbing, heating, and electrical work.

· Coordinate project schedules and synchronize subcontractor activities to ensure efficiency.

· Inspect subcontractor work to verify quality standards and compliance with design plans.

· Maintain a comprehensive database of suppliers and trade subcontractors.

· Formulate and execute marketing strategies to promote the company’s construction and renovation services.

· Perform carpentry or other trade tasks as needed during project implementation.
