Bookkeeper

Roland Construction is committed to delivering the quality renovation project on schedule, safely and within budget to our clients as our higher priority. We are responsible for providing all of the material, labor, equipment such as engineering vehicles and tools, and services necessary for the renovation project, and performing the renovation work. We are now hiring 1 Bookkeeper. 

Job Description:

－ Title: Bookkeeper

－ NOC: NOC 12200 

－ Position(s) Available: 1

－ Work Location(s): 3317 Coldstream Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 1Y1

－ Weekly Hours: 30 to 40 hours

－ Compensation: $24 per hour

Benefit:  

－ 10-day paid vacation per annum

Job Requirements:

－ Completion of secondary school is required.

－ Completion of a college diploma in a related field

OR

－ Completion of at least 2 years of recognized programs or courses in accounting or bookkeeping with at least 2 years of experience in the related field is required.

－ Ability to utilize English in the professional workplace is required.

Job Responsibilities:

－ Maintain financial records and establish, sustain, and reconcile various accounts through both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.

－ Record journal entries, reconcile accounts, prepare trial balances of ledgers, maintain general ledgers, and compile financial statements.

－ Compute and issue cheques for payroll, utilities, taxes, and other bills.

－ Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government-required documents.

－ Prepare tax returns and provide other personal bookkeeping services.

－ Compile additional statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
