Job Description:

- Work Location(s): 3314 30th Ave Vernon, BC V1T 2C3
- Weekly Hours: 30 to 40 hours
- Compensation: $25 per hour

- 10-day paid vacation per annum
Job Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Completion of a college diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or a related field
OR
- Completion of a recognized program or courses in accounting or bookkeeping and at least 2 years of experiences in related field is required.
- Ability to utilize English in the professional workplace is required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records by setting up, managing, and balancing accounts using both manual and digital bookkeeping systems.
- Record journal entries, reconcile accounts, prepare trial balances, manage general ledgers, and generate financial statements.
- Compute and issue payments for payroll, utilities, taxes, and other expenses.
- File and submit necessary documents such as tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government-related paperwork.
- Prepare tax returns and offer additional personal bookkeeping assistance.
- Compile various statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
