Kanae Yakiniku is a Japanese restaurant founded in 2020 by a team of like-minded foodies: a group of friends who have always liked to eat, drink, and create amazing food together. Our hobby quickly led us to opening this restaurant Kanae Yakiniku, a place where people from all over the town can meet to enjoy our special dishes and comfortable atmosphere. Now we are hiring 3 kitchen helpers.
Job Description:
Job Title: Kitchen Helper (NOC 65201)
Positions: 3
Location: 205-4231 Hazelbridge Way, Richmond, BC V6X 3L7
Compensation: $16.75 /hour
Hours: 30~40 hours/week
Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required.
Experience is an asset. Will train.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, heat, and complete basic food items.
Maintain hygiene standards by disinfecting worktables, cabinets, and kitchen appliances, establishing a sanitary environment for food preparation.
Prepare vegetables, fruits, and other edibles by washing, peeling, chopping, and cleansing as required, guaranteeing their freshness and quality.
Follow guidelines for cleaning, peeling, and cutting meat, fish, and poultry to ensure appropriate handling and safety measures.
Promote kitchen cleanliness by effectively disposing of waste and managing kitchen refuse containers, keeping the area neat and free from unpleasant smells.
Organize the kitchen by arranging supplies in refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas upon unpacking, ensuring easy access and proper inventory management.
Assist the kitchen staff by diligently sweeping and mopping floors, providing valuable assistance whenever needed to maintain an efficient workflow.
