Weekly Hours: 35
Compensation: $27.5 per hour
Benefit:
10-day paid vacation per annum

Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school is required
Four years of related experience or completion of a two year apprenticeship program
Completion of the interprovincial Red Seal examination is an asset.
Job Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints and cut, install, polish, and finish granite and marble.
Measure, cut, and install tile flooring with precision to ensure long-lasting results.
Apply hardwood floors, such as strip, block, or plank floors, using a variety of methods like glue, staples, or nails.
Shape tile beds using tools and materials like concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, or mortar.
Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings using hand tools and adhesive.
Stretch and secure carpets using knee kickers or power stretchers and staple guns.
Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain their integrity.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety regulations and guidelines.
