Job Description:

- Title: Video Editor

- Work Location(s): 8741 53 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T6E 5E9

- Weekly Hours: 30 hours

- Compensation: $25.5 per hour

Benefit:  

- 10-day paid vacation per annum

Job Requirements:

- Completion of a college or other program in recording engineering, audiovisual technology or a related field

OR

At least 1 year of work experience in a related field is required.

- Ability to utilize English in the professional workplace is required.

Job Responsibilities:

- Utilize appropriate software tools for video editing.

- Set up, operate, and adjust audio, recording, editing, and reproducing equipment for sound recording and reproduction.

- Edit and assemble raw footage to create visually appealing and coherent videos.

- Trim, splice, and synchronize video clips and audio tracks.

- Enhance video content by incorporating motion graphics, visual effects, and animations.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative and engaging video concepts.

- Follow company guidelines to ensure consistency in all video productions.

- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality video projects, meeting all deadlines.

- Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure accurate and error-free final videos.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve video editing techniques.

- Maintain an organized file management system for video assets.
