Job Description:
· Title: Construction material sales representative

· Work Location(s): 3314 30th Ave, Vernon, BC V1T 2C3
· Weekly Hours: 30
· Compensation: $31 per hour
Benefit:
· 10-day paid vacation per annum

Job Requirements:
· A university degree or college diploma in a related field is required.
· Experience in sales or a construction occupation is an asset.
· Ability to utilize English in the professional workplace is required.
Job Responsibilities:
· Identify and prospect potential clients.
· Maintain and cultivate sales relationships with existing clientele.
· Evaluate clients' requirements, offer recommendations or assistance in selecting suitable materials or services, and negotiate prices or other sales terms.
· Create sales presentations, proposals, or other collateral to showcase the benefits of using our construction materials or services.
· Estimate installation and maintenance costs of the materials or services.
· Prepare and execute sales contracts while managing customer records.
· Engage with client’s post-sale to address issues and provide ongoing support.
· Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of our materials or services to effectively communicate features to clients and address inquiries.
· Develop, implement, and evaluate sales strategies to accomplish business objectives.
· Analyze market conditions, monitor competitors' activities, and stay informed about emerging markets and trends.
