We specialize in cabinet showrooms, marble countertops, wooden floors, ceramic tiles, and wall painting. We are hiring 1 Construction Site Manager (NOC 70010).

 

Job Description:

·        Title: Construction Site Manager

·        NOC: 70010

·        Position(s) Available: 1

·        Work Location(s):Vernon, BC, V1T 2C3 & varied construction sites

·        Weekly Hours: 30

·        Compensation: $39.5 per hour

 

Benefit:

·        10-day paid vacation per annum

·        Group insurance

 

Job Requirements:

·        A college diploma or university degree in a related field is required (extensive experience in the construction industry may substitute for post-secondary education requirements).

·        At least 5 years experience in the construction industry including experience as a construction supervisor or field superintendent are required.

·        Ability to utilize English in the professional workplace is required.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·        Read blueprint, schemas and drawings

·        Select trade subcontractors and co-ordinate their activities

·        Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions

·        Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress

·        Monitor, prepare, and create schedules, specifications, and budgets for construction projects.

·        Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers

·        Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction projects from initial to final processes.

·        Estimate and prepare construction schedules and monitor progress and process.

·        Prepare contracts, revised changes, progress reports, schedules, and relevant materials to clients.

·        Develop and implement quality control programs.

·        Responsible for construction materials procurement and land acquisitions.

·        Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.

·        Represent the company to solve any relevant matters.
