Description:
- Title: Cook (NOC 63200)
- Location: 3488 Kingsway, Vancouver, BC
- Compensation: $16.75/hour
- Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Benefits: 10-day paid vacations per annum
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Completion of a program for cooks OR at least 1 year of commercial cooking experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes and foods regarding recipes.
- Schedule and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Manage kitchen operations.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, order supplies, and equipment.
- Plan the menu and determine the size of food portions.
- Keep the kitchen clean and tidy.
- Train new kitchen helpers and cooks.
