Description:
- Title: Food Service Supervisor (NOC 62020)
- Location: 3411 30th Avenue, Vernon, British Columbia V1T 2E3
- Compensation: $18/hour
- Hours: 40 hours/week
Requirements:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- Completion of a program in a related field OR at least 1 year of relevant experience is required.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, servers, and other restaurant employees.
- Order and maintain an adequate supply of food, beverages, and other supplies needed for meal preparation and service.
- Create work schedules for staff and make sure that everyone is on task and working together effectively.
- Prepare food order summaries and communicate customer requests to the chef or kitchen staff.
- Keep accurate records of inventory, sales, repairs, and waste.
- Train staff in job duties and safety and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health codes and regulations.
- Monitor food quality and customer service to ensure that standards are met or exceeded.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
