Home Support Worker
We are looking for a full-time Home Support Worker (in private household) to take care of senior in Surrey, BC.
Position: 1
Wage: $20 per hour
Work Hours: 30 hours/week, Full-time
Work Location: Surrey, BC V3W 1A6
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide care and companionship for senior;
- Administer bedside and personal care to senior such as aid in ambulation, bathing, personal hygiene, and dressing and undressing;
- Plan and prepare meals and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding senior;
- May perform routine health-related duties such as changing non-sterile dressings, assisting in the administration of medications and collecting specimens under the general direction of home care agency supervisor or nurse;
- May perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making beds.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Secondary School Diploma
- Able to speak, read and understand English fluently
- Nice, patient with Senior
- Some knowledge or experience of taking care of patient is an asset.
