General Manager
UU Education Inc. is an international education company located in Victoria, BC, which aims to provide assistance to support international students from Asia to access, apply, settle, and adapt in Canada. Furthermore, UU Education Inc. expects to develop after-school and extracurricular educational services for international/domestic students. Therefore, we are seeking a General Manager to assist UU Education Inc. in achieving its objective and establishing its branding in Canada.
Job Description:

- Weekly Hours: 30
- Compensation: $40 per hour
- Benefit: 10-day paid vacation per annum
Job Requirements:
- A university degree OR college diploma in education-related fields is required.
- At least 5-year experience at the management level at education-related organizations/institutions is required.
- Ability to utilize English in the professional workplace is required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish short-term and long-term objectives for the company.
- Establish and approve procedures and policies for the company.
- Direct the senior managers to implement objectives and plans.
- Organize internal departments and assign responsible personnel.
- Allocate resources to implement the company’s projects and plans.
- Oversee and coordinate results of ongoing projects and programs.
- Select suitable management talents.
- Coordinate internal departments and divisions in assigned work tasks.
- Represent the company to negotiate and achieve collaborations with partners or clients.
- Collaborate with other educational industry-related institutions/organizations to develop resources and relationships.
- Establish and implement the blueprint of the company.
- Recruit, train, evaluate, and promote employees.
